What is AI Food Fight?
AI Food Fight is meant as a simple, low stakes way to have fun, share what you like to eat, and maybe get some meal ideas. Users vote between two AI-generated photos, deciding which one they like the most and rating each. Stats are tracked across users, with the best (and worst) performing images appearing on the leaderboard.
How many people are involved in the project?
This platform was created and is maintained by a single individual developer out of pocket.
How do I earn achievements?
Achievements are spread throughout the image database, and have a random chance to come up with every new vote. Every achievement comes in a set of ten photos. Encounter all ten to finish the achievement and unlock it!
How does the site track my votes?
To prevent repeats, the site tracks up to the last 3,000 votes you've made. The voting history is stored on the user device and deletes after 24 hours without a vote. If you manage to run out of images, you can click 'Start Over' to clear all of your seen images manually and allow repeats.
Where do the food images come from?
All images on the site were hand-picked and manually generated using the engine Midjourney. The database currently has around X thousand images, though more are always being added!
Can I submit images?
Due to the limited scale of the project, and to maintain cohesion, user submitted images are currently not allowed. Sorry! (Note: Premium users can request up to three new prompts a month!)
An image is miscategorized or has a typo. How can I report it?
If you run across an image with an issue, please copy the image ID and share the problem via the contact form. I'll do my best to fix it quickly!
[X food] doesn't look like that!
Though every image included in the database was prompted and selected by hand, not every picture is a perfect representation of its prompt. Some images have been included for the fun of seeing their result, and / or because they looked appealing by themselves.
